Throughout the home, Dawn worked with the clients’ extensive collection of original artwork. Window frames were painted black for a modern look and paired with light wood floors to keep the spaces airy. Room openings were made larger and higher to create openness and extend the eyeline.

In the dining and living rooms, the fireplaces were redesigned to fit each space’s respective theme. In the dining room, the fireplace’s new wood surround and sconces are bright and understated. An expandable table is perfect for large gatherings, and the dry bar provides storage with a unique spot for treasured artwork to sit.

In the kitchen—a new addition to the home—Dawn created the ultimate space for cooking and entertaining. A large kitchen island offers ample room for prep and seating. By the oven, a full-height porcelain backsplash is easy to clean and has built-in storage and accent lights alongside. Custom cabinetry in a transitional look provides modern storage. Off of the kitchen, Dawn built a walk-in pantry to house the couple’s extensive appliances, cookbooks and dishware.

In the sitting area, custom window treatments control privacy. A skylight keeps light flowing in. Custom-designed nooks for tv-watching, music appreciation and mixology provide the perfect spots for the client to relax and indulge their passions.

For a fun and funky powder room, the clients and Dawn fell in love with an illustrated monkey-themed wallpaper. Windows were updated, along with custom cabinetry and a unique backsplash. A pocket door saves space while allowing sunlight to flow in.

The primary bedroom was outfitted with new furniture, and the bathroom redesigned to provide his and hers vanities, a large steam shower and plenty of storage.
