midwest modernism The family moved to their Ohio home from Chicago with the desire to keep it clean and simple.
finding balance Their love for mid-century modern paired well with designer and partner, Linda. The team quickly started a plan to embrace the open layout including living room, dining room and family room.
clean and cool A cohesive color palette and timeless furniture were thoughtfully selected—all with the intent to keep one space flowing into the next. The fireplace was reimagined as the new hero and rebuilt with locally made artisan crafted cement tiles. Lighting was installed to be understated, to compliment natural light and the home's many windows. The family's art collection provided a feature wall that adds warmth and interest to the home's high ceilings.
