meet the smiths Having lived in the home for over 20 years, the Smith's had functional needs at the top of their must-have list. They were in need of a new, sleek kitchen that would hide daily clutter and a reimagined family space that would accommodate a growing guest list.
creating space The renovation kicked-off with taking down the walls of a few small rooms to open up the space. The flood of natural light gave the space new life, so much so that the kitchen plan considered sunshine as a design element.
quiet kitchen Modern cabinets offer much-needed function, a marble wall acts as a feature along with carefully selected lighting. Subtle yet essential details like pop-up electrical outlets, integrated appliances and faucet finishing create an easy-on-the-eyes space to cook in. The open kitchen is balanced with a wood wall along with off-center fireplace and television in the family room.
